Best Tilt Holster
User: The One, Jun 29, 2008
Pros: Snap on is easy and does not scratch the phone
Cons: .......????.......
More fashionable than those leather cases that make the phone look "fat". This case looks better with jeans than the leather ones.
Exactly what I was looking for

I was so excited to have found this clip for the phone. Anyone who has gone to the AT&T store to buy the plastic clip for the Tilt knows that their product has three main flaws: 1. The phone is held in by two plastic "prongs" that are supposed to fit between the display and the keyboard of the phone. They fit but over time it would loosen the sliding display (screen) because the clip is poorly designed for the phone. 2. The AT&T version of the clip holds the phone with the screen facing out. Touch screens are ultra sensitive as it is so why you would make a phone clip where the display faces out is beyond me. It was only a matter of time before the phone took a hit going around a corner, rubbing against the seat belt in the car, or if the belt clip broke the phone would hit the ground with the most sensitive part facing out. 3. Putting the phone in the clip and getting it out was a two-handed operation. I come from years of Nextel phones where their phone could easily be removed from the holster with two fingers. This Seidio holster (clip) is the answer to all of these problems and more.

The clip is made of a rubberized plastic material making it more resilient if dropped. The phone faces IN and someone came up with the brilliant idea to line the inside of the clip with black felt. If you are paying $300+ for a smart phone it is nice to know that the phone will be protected. The prongs that hold the phone in reach around the whole body of the phone so you do not have to take the time to "line it up" and make sure you are putting the phone in the holster correctly. The clip also has the solution for needing two hands... there is a spring-loaded latch at the top of the holster that you simply lift up and pull the phone out. This latch feature is just as helpful when you are putting the phone back into the clip and you just rest the bottom inside the prongs and push the top in. The latch will move over the top of the phone and fall into place on its own. The latch is also made out of the rubberized material so it will not scratch the phone. I give this clip an A+.
