| More fashionable than those leather cases that make the phone look "fat". This case looks better with jeans than the leather ones. | |||||

| Exactly what I was looking for | |

| I was so excited to have found this clip for the phone. Anyone who has gone to the AT&T store to buy the plastic clip for the Tilt knows that their product has three main flaws: 1. The phone is held in by two plastic "prongs" that are supposed to fit between the display and the keyboard of the phone. They fit but over time it would loosen the sliding display (screen) because the clip is poorly designed for the phone. 2. The AT&T version of the clip holds the phone with the screen facing out. Touch screens are ultra sensitive as it is so why you would make a phone clip where the display faces out is beyond me. It was only a matter of time before the phone took a hit going around a corner, rubbing against the seat belt in the car, or if the belt clip broke the phone would hit the ground with the most sensitive part facing out. 3. Putting the phone in the clip and getting it out was a two-handed operation. I come from years of Nextel phones where their phone could easily be removed from the holster with two fingers. This Seidio holster (clip) is the answer to all of these problems and more. The clip is made of a rubberized plastic material making it more resilient if dropped. The phone faces IN and someone came up with the brilliant idea to line the inside of the clip with black felt. If you are paying $300+ for a smart phone it is nice to know that the phone will be protected. The prongs that hold the phone in reach around the whole body of the phone so you do not have to take the time to "line it up" and make sure you are putting the phone in the holster correctly. The clip also has the solution for needing two hands... there is a spring-loaded latch at the top of the holster that you simply lift up and pull the phone out. This latch feature is just as helpful when you are putting the phone back into the clip and you just rest the bottom inside the prongs and push the top in. The latch will move over the top of the phone and fall into place on its own. The latch is also made out of the rubberized material so it will not scratch the phone. I give this clip an A+. | |

| The ONLY belt-holster for the Tilt | |||||

| This was my fourth attempt to find a real, workable holster for the Tilt. First, I bought the clip-in holster sold by AT&T with the device. The phone did not fit in closed, the front glass was vulnerable, and the case seemed to distort the phone body when the phone was installed. I used it once. Second, I bought a bulky sleeve holster made out of nylon. Worked, but oversized and ugly. Then I bouth AT&Ts leather version. When the Tilt was placed in the holster, glass-in, one wrong lean on a counter caused the belt hook to press hard enough on the glass to break it. Then comes the Seidio. The design PERFECTLY fits the Tilt, whichever way you wish to place it in the holster. It protects the Tilt completely if placed face-in. It is tough, with a rubberized kind of finish that is easy to hold on to. The beltclip has a slight hook which prevents it from coming off. It also rotates for vertical or horizontal placement on the belt. The release clip...its greatest strength...hold onto the device securely, yet releases it easily with one hand. Easy-in, easy-out. I am hard on carrying cases, and particular about them. This one not only passes muster for my stringent requirements, but so far as Im concerned, is the best case Ive ever had for any phone Ive ever owned. Love it! | |||||

| Ill start by saying that I am very hard on cases and holsters, so durability is important to me. I have literally worn out a dozen holsters and cases (mostly holsters) since my first cell phone. Ive been using the Seido holster for my Kaiser/TyTnII/Tilt for about 4 months now and it is as good as new. Normally, by now, I have started to wear out the belt clip - usually by catching it on my seat belt as I get out of the car - or have completely destroyed it. On some holsters, I would have worn out the rotating part of the belt clip, or the latch that holds the phone in place. None of this has happened. All the parts are just as tight as they were on day one. I attribute this to the design of the belt clip in particular and the overall design generally. The overall design is low impact. The phone is tightly secured. The belt clip rotates through 180 degrees with seven different positions. One handed clipping/unclipping is easy. Overall, this is easily the best holster Ive ever owned. | |||||
